Testing the Arch
Tonight we went out and measured and tested the arch to see how it's going to look. Don't think it will be much work to get it framed in now.
This blog documents the construction from start to finish of a steel framed pole-barn type home.

Went out today and fixed the east window. It had been put in backwards. It slides to the side instead of our others that open up/down. Changing it out took them hours. We go tomorrow and buy the arch for the kitchen entry. We also have to get another toilet flange for the half bath.
Tonight we bought:
1. Tub
2. Recessed Lighting Kits
3. Bath and laundry room lighting fixtures
4. Porch Lights

I'm going to have to choose light and ceiling fan fixtures very soon. The recessed lighting will go in the kitchen and the living room. Ceiling fans in living room and 3 bedrooms. I need to pick out pendant lights for above the bar as well as lights for exterior of house. I think I will choose a few sconces as well for the living room. We're going to have dimmer switches for the recessed lighting as well as the pendant lights above the bar.

We have almost finished building the bar. We are putting laminate over this that will match our kitchen counter top. This bar will serve as a dining room table. I think I can fit 8 bar stools here.

This is a view of our kitchen before we built the bar and kitchen entryway arch. Really looks empty doesn't it?
